Preparation Process

1. Physical tempering

Ordinary flat glass or float glass is heated in a heating furnace to a temperature close to the softening temperature (about 600℃), and the internal stress is eliminated through its own deformation. Then it is removed from the heating furnace and high-pressure cold air is blown quickly and evenly to both sides of the glass with a multi-head nozzle to quickly cool it to room temperature and complete the tempering.

2. Chemical tempering

Immerse silicate glass containing alkali metal ions in molten lithium (Li+) salt, so that the Na+ or K+ ions on the surface of the glass are exchanged with Li+ ions, and a Li+ ion exchange layer is formed on the surface. After cooling, the glass is in a state of tension in the inner layer and compression in the outer layer, achieving a tempering effect.
